Climate justice is a cause close to our hearts. At Seedbox, we believe protecting forests is key to fighting climate change. That’s why we support reforestation and local economic development in Sierra Leone. For every qualified order, we fund tree planting and help grow local cashew production — restoring biodiversity, supporting food systems, and creating lasting jobs. With every project we deliver, we are not just building innovative solutions – we are making a statement for a greener, fairer future.

Our sustainable contribution

Our overarching goal is to create a stronger societal awareness of the connection between sustainability and technology. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, for example, have incredible future potential and a significant impact on global resource consumption.

Natural Cultivation

Our cashews are cultivated in the heart of Sierra Leone, where they flourish in harmony with the untouched beauty of nature. Grown using sustainable, natural methods, each hectare of food forest supports around 170 trees and over 10 diverse species - creating a thriving, biodiverse ecosystem with every harvest.

Local processing in Sierra Leone

Our cashews are not just grown naturally in Sierra Leone - they are also processed locally. This approach strengthens the local economy by creating jobs and skills on the ground, while significantly reducing environment impact. By shortening transport routes, we cut the sea journey by up to 80%, making our supply chain more sustainable from start to finish.

Our loyalty program

For every project, we invest 2% of our revenue into tree planting.  At the end of the year, you get your share of Climate Nuts – our way of saying thanks for going green with us. Want in? Just do a project with us. You’re automatically part of the program.
